It’s December!

1 December 2014

… and everyone knows December means the release of magical fairy dust everywhere to put everyone in a holiday mood!

Festivities! Food! Clearing paid leave! Holidays! Christmas carols! Presents! The very scent of joy in the air! (or maybe that’s just the holidays’ baked goods)

December is also a good time to write to Santa. No it’s not too late. Deadlines have been extended since Santa turned eco and started accepting emails.

Dear Santa,

As you already know – but which I feel obliged to reiterate, just in case you mistaken me for my same-name, no-good twin who procrastinates on things on year, including writing blog posts. I’m pretty sure she hasn’t written you yet! – I’ve been very good all year.

I have never written to you and you know I wouldn’t bother you trivial things that I can buy for myself. However, there is one thing that I’ve deeply regretted ever since I realized I missed the chance to get it.

THIS GAME.

Tokaido – Collector’s Edition.

I saw it on Kickstarter “only” a few months after it closed and wanted to smash my head on the keyboard.

This is a GORGEOUS game and I’ve loved the art from the moment I first set eyes on it. This is hands down the most beautiful game I’ve ever seen + IT’S ABOUT JAPAN!!!

I feel like crying when I think about how I’m going to miss out on this special edition with all the Kickstarter exclusives, especially:

Super detailed (and will be painted) miniatures!!!

:C :C :C

Please Santa, if anyone can do it, it’s you. (get your super competent elves to recreate a copy in the workshop, steal procure a copy from the developers, work your magic!) I promise I’ll be extra, extra good the next year! I’ll even ask my no-good twin to write more!!!

With lots of love and equally as much expectation,
Rin
