Serendipity: Sakura in Shizuoka

We visited Shizuoka in early April for strawberry-picking, and as we were driving off, we spotted a lovely stretch of sakura trees. Naturally, we got out of the car and rushed towards it! More accurately, three of us did. Fu had to find a place to park Haru before he could join us heh.

The nice thing is that because it’s in the countryside, there were hardly any people around (we only met 2 other people in our entire time there) and we could hoard the view all to ourselves. Of course, some people *cough*ERIC*cough* have absolutely no courtesy and happily walked into the frame while others were taking photos -_-

Culprit:

Having a DSLR doesn’t automatically grant you first dibs!

It was very peaceful and beautiful…

… until a rampaging horse galloped in and broke the serenity T_T

Welfie time!

With the rampager
With the destroyer

Indeed, it’s true that some of the best spots are those we discover by accident :)
