The Yomeishu Experiment (養命酒の実験)

7 February 2014

I’m always cold. Even a bit of air-con will make ice blocks out of my hands. Much less the 5 degrees winter now =_=

At night, my hands and feet get so cold that even after crawling under the warm covers (we have an electric blanket – lifesaver!) I take about 15 mins to thaw. If you’ve never had the experience, well, it’s kinda difficult to fall asleep with dead limbs. I stay perfectly awake (and cold) until I warm up.

I dunno how some people can have warm hands in the dead of winter!!! YY, I’m looking at you. Her hands were positively burning compared to mine. Fu as well, although not as consistent lol. It’s like they have built in heaters or something o_O

So! In an attempt to build my own heater, I’m going to take Yomeishu!

These are what it claims to help improve:

NUMBER 2 IS ME!

My blood circulation is probably very screwed, seeing as how they turn cold at the hint of a cool breeze :G

Let’s hope Yomeishu will help at least a bit! I mean, since I’m in Japan where it’s made… might as well, right? It costs only 2,200yen (~SGD $28) for 1,000ml! Not too bad, eh?

It seems it will take at least 3 months to see any effects, so I will probably update again then!

    Hi Rin,
I am really impress with this product, it’s scary at first but then the result is awesome, anyways, i believe the Japanese products. I would like to ask you that there is any kind of products in Japan to help the skin of whole body peel off like this, because i want to peel not only my feet but also my whole body especially my legs, it’s dark for years like ton of dead skin cover it. Or do you have any kind brightening products for body?
I am looking forward for your feedback,

    Ly Do

      Hi Ly,
It’s great to hear that Yomeishu works for you! What kind of results did you see after taking it?

Hmmm, if you want to remove dead skin on other parts of your body, you could try exfoliating with a body scrub containing exfoliating beads or with a bath sponge/towel.

You won’t visibly see the skin come off, but it actually does help remove dead skin. It’s best to exfoliate daily for best results :)

I don’t really use any brightening products on my body though, so I’m afraid I’m unable to really recommend anything.

However, I do take vitamin C daily, which has the ability to whiten skin, amidst other benefits. You can read about it here.
