Arrived 2 days ago actually, but I’ve been spending most of the time recovering from my hectic trip back – I slept 16 hours straight the first night, and 11 hours last night.
I say hectic because in Japan, I get double digit hours of sleep (if I want to), have a real, bed to sleep on, don’t have appointments packed back to back every single day, don’t have to interact with people, don’t have to go out in the sun <– I do think going out in the sun is one of the most draining things for me #talkinglikeavampire
Then as if bored by my resilience in holding up the strenuous trip back so well, last night, I went and chomped down an entire pack of sunflower seed chocolate YY bought me and earned myself a feels-like-my-throat-split-open-and-knives-are-slicing-down-on-raw-flesh-every-time-I-swallow sore throat.
Fu had some too, but I think I might have been a tad bit more greedy.
Drink cupful upon cupful of ginseng, spoonful upon spoonful of Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa but it still hurts like a MOTHR9*#&()@)OIFHWEJNS.
*flings bottle of ginseng*
I came across your blog while googling for Singaporean who stays in Japan. I am curious, is it hard to find a job as a woman in Japan because I have read from other forums about hierarchy system in Japan. And did u learn Japanese before you live there?
Hi,
No, I don’t think gender is a problem when finding a job in Japan. If anything, the biggest obstacle will be language.
Yes, I started learning Japanese before I moved there :)
