Although the sakura season has long past, its beauty still lives on in the photos I captured!
I thought I’d better fasterly blog it before it gets backlogged till the next sakura season lol. (yes, there are posts that I meant to write that are more than a year old =_=)
This year, I tried to visit as many different places as possible.
I’ll be doing dedicated posts of some places, so the descriptions of those places will be minimal here.
Enjoy the sneak preview of posts to come!

EBISU 恵比寿
Under a couple of sakura trees smack in the middle of Ebisu (which is a relatively expensive area with lots of restaurants and bars), Fu’s company held a hanami party. As is typical, family was invited, so I attended too!
That was my officially my first hanami with a big group!
So far, the max number of people in my “hanami party” was 3 people, and we just bought like onigiris or bentos and didn’t even have a mat. Just randomly squeeze together on some low ledge like and nibbling on our food like hobos lol.
This time it was the full works! Mats, sushi, pizza, beer (even though I don’t drink), people! (even though I don’t know most of them lol)

Can you see the petals fluttering to the ground?

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Sometimes the things we seek are right before us…
This small street near our house, and even our car park had a stretch of sakura trees!
Haru is a lucky thing; He was bathed in sakura petals every time we picked him to drive out lol.

We were in Shizuoka for strawberry-picking and happened to come across this stretch. It was such a pleasant surprise!
