Seoul 2014 Itinerary – Super free & easy

A brief itinerary of our recent 10-day Korea trip. We spent all 9 nights in Seoul alone, because we are the relax-and-take-our-time-exploring-one-area type of tourist ;D

So yes, no Jeju, no Busan, no anywhere else but Seoul! (the shock, the horror! All 10 days in Seoul alone?!)

Tips:

You may notice the itinerary doesn’t actually tell you much at all. I wrote it mainly for my own reference to guide me in writing upcoming posts, heh.

I won’t be doing a blow by blow account covering each and every single day. Instead I’ll write about whatever I feel like writing, in no particular order, and update this main post with links as I go along.

    Seoul!! I’ll be going in the summer :D

    Looks like you had pretty eventful packed 10-day trip.
    Can’t wait to see the upcoming posts.

      Oooh, summer will be hot though, right? Hopefully not too hot like Japan (which can beat Singapore’s temperatures T_T )

      How long are you going for? If you’re anything like me, be sure to set aside a healthy budget for beauty shopping, haha!

      Mmm, I basically had a small list of things I wanna do, and places that I wanna visit (from research and from friends’ recommendations) and just allocated them as I went along!

        Yikes! I hope it isn’t too hot then, but I also heard June-August is monsoon season there.

        I’ll be going to study abroad. Can’t wait! But I’m definitely setting a budget for beauty shopping! How can I not when going to Korea? :P

        Hmm…in that case I should start making a list of where I want to visit too. Thanks!

          Yeah, June is rainy season in Japan, and since Korea is so close by, it’s probably similar. It’s bloody hot here during July and August bloody though! D:

          Oh, if you’re going to be living there for a while, then it’s a different story all together! There is less of the time constraint and you can slowly explore :)

          Hopefully my upcoming posts will give you some ideas on where to go, heh ;D

      Hi Celia, I stayed at an Airbnb place that had a shared bathroom. There are quite a few on airbnb that you can select from, but if you would still like to know the specific one I stayed in, I could go dig up the info for you :)

      Hi Elaine, I was in Seoul for 10 days (not 7) and excluding airfare, I think we spent about SGD 2k+ in total. We didn’t stay at a hotel, but at airbnb places instead :)

    Hi,I’m Charlotte.I’ll go to korean for 10days 9 night too just at seoul.may i know how much the expenses have you spend for 10days trip?how much need to top-up for T-money for 10days trip in seoul?

      Hi Charlotte,

      I don’t recall the exact amount, but for the two of us, it was something like SGD 2-3k for the 10 days. But it really depends on the individual – how much shopping, what kind of food/accomodation, etc. The train rides are really cheap in Korea (just 1000 won) compared to here in Japan, so we didn’t really keep track. We also often took taxis because those are pretty affordable too.
